The first half of the book was really boring. I spent most of my time trying to remember which character was which. The second half was alright. I liked that the protagonist finally gets to explore who she was. |

Nothing exceptional apart from perhaps Chanu. the quintessential immigrant.His is the character which engages you the most.The lust story (the crux perhaps?!) is simply boring and never ending.You would really want her to stop the cribbing AND the correspondence.Her fate seems mighty convenient to me. |

The story was a lot longer than it needed to be, and the beginning was really boring. The last few chapters were good, but the author really could have cut most of the beginning out. Nothing gets exciting until after halfway. |
