It is always a pleasure to read authors who have a good command of language. Additionally Gerald Schroeder has a great ability to take a complex idea, break it down, and make it understandable in the simplest of terms. Additionally Gerald Schroeder has a great ability to take a complex idea, break it down, and make it understandable in the simplest of terms. Scientists and authors who can do this, are by far the type of people who usually think little of their intellect but think more of how they can encourage others to think. As in practically every book, I do not agree with all that I read, but it is always refreshing to read over other ideas and how that author expresses himself. In this book, Gerald Schroeder posits several theories that are contrary to the current scientific dogma. This is good, for it is by the continual challenging of accepted understanding that science in general is advanced. There are other parts of the book that Mr. Schroeder explains eloquently the intricate details of nature. These details if seriously examined by open minded scientists would lead them to understand that random events did not cause the universe and life into existence, but that God created it. (show less)

An amazing book. I found it to be one of the most articulate books ever written on the the divine origin of the universe. I study cosmology, astronomy, and physics as a hobby. When I realize how beautiful the universe is I cannot be unhappy.
