  • I was actually angry while reading this book. I wanted to write like that. I had ideas like that. I wanted to be that funny and that profound and that careless. And Robbins beat me to it.
    Then every time I finished a Robbins' book for the next six months I would end up writing like him. And I knew it and couldn't stop. For those wanting to know: Robbins-like writing doesn't translate well to television news. It does however make news events more interesting to experience and write about.

    Read it. Remember that it was bound by time and context. and then let all of those little teasing gremlins leap out at your reality and play go. (show less)
