One of the greatest advertising thinkers of all time. David Ogilvy's experience as a salesman, a copywriter, and a man of research shines through. Though not completely true today, his rules include a lot of great advice to those in the industry.

45 years after the book was first published and it is still relevant. Ogilvy was clearly an egomaniac, but a brilliant egomaniac. A forefather of modern advertising, Ogilvy's book is a handy how-to for both ad people and advertisers.
My favorite piece of advice: Tolerate genius.
