  This book is about a 48-year-old naïve writer manqué named Steven ... how could you go wrong with that?

  no seriously, it is a wickedly funny picaresque novel lampooning writers, theatre, academics, cowboys, cops, Boston and Colorado, not necessarily in that order.

  the book is a commentary on ART clothed in the form of a novel. Starts out ok but gets sort of messy in the end. I my opinion anyway.
