This is a great book. It explains the vineyard values and priorities really well and helped me articulate so much of why our church was planted the way it was. I learned a lot, and i think i must have underlined something on just about every page. If you're looking for a good understanding of church planting, or are exploring the vineyard then this book i think is a must read. It's a really good source of info, and i constantly refer back to it.

I love the way that Vineyard expresses church and the message of Jesus. It's not that i think it's better than other expressions of christianity. It just feels like home to me. (show less)

  • A powerful book on how to build a church from the bottom up... Alexander shares his experiences with John Wimber in the mid-1980's. I'm about half way through with the book and have been challenged so many times on how I view the church (locally and globally) and how I "do" church. If the second half is like the first...wow..watch out. =/
