This was just as good as the one before it. I found it slow starting at first, but once everyone's story was set, the book took off. I love the humor and realness all rolled into one. There were times that you were reading and laughing knowing this could all happen to you if circumstances were there; and then you caught yourself and realized these were great love stories rolled into the humor as well and could place yourself immediately into the moment. This was just as good as the one before it. I found it slow starting at first, but once everyone's story was set, the book took off. I love the humor and realness all rolled into one. There were times that you were reading and laughing knowing this could all happen to you if circumstances were there; and then you caught yourself and realized these were great love stories rolled into the humor as well and could place yourself immediately into the moment. Beth Harbison has a great ability to portray feelings on paper that you feel right along with the character as you are reading. It was a fun and fast read that helped me relax and enjoy the story as it unfolded. It is true there are many women out there with a shoe addiction, myself being one, but I am not sure how many women would go to the lengths these ladies did to support a crazy habit.... accessorizing with the perfect outfit, because you bought the shoes first of course! The follow up to Shoe Addicts Anonymous, Secrets of a Shoe Addict starts out pretty slow but by the time you're a few chapters in the story is really rolling. Surprisingly witty, by the middle of the book it's easy to find yourself rotating between laughing along and cringing as you know what's about to happen next.
