Mega-bestselling author Ken Blanchard and celebrated business leaders Don Hutson and Ethan Willis present an inspiring story that reveals the secrets to becoming a successful entrepreneur.

In THE ONE MINUTE ENTREPRENEUR, Ken Blanchard (coauthor of the #1 bestselling business classic The One Minute Manager), Don Hutson, CEO of U.S. Learning, and Ethan Willis, CEO of Prosper Learning, tell the inspiring story of one man’s challenges in creating his own business. Through a powerful and engaging narrative, we confront many of the typical problems all entrepreneurs face in starting up their business, from finding new sources of revenue to securing the commitment of their people and the loyalty of their customers. More important, we learn the secrets to becoming a successful entrepreneur, including how to build a firm foundation, how to ensure a steady cash flow, and how to create legendary service. In addition, the book offers invaluable advice, delivered through One Minute Insights, from such entrepreneurs and thinkers as Sheldon Bowles, Peter Drucker, Michael Gerber, and Charlie “Tremendous” Jones.

Today, in the midst of the largest entrepreneurial surge in U.S. history, four out of five small businesses continue to fail. THE ONE MINUTE ENTREPRENEUR offers businesspeople and would-be entrepreneurs a treasure trove of wisdom on how to think, act, and succeed in creating and sustaining a business, no matter what their industry.

"Excellent Reading! It's a rolling narrative, very straightforward in it's flow and has an attraction that does not allow you to keep the book down until you have actually finished reading it. The principle of servant leadership and other helpful techniques presented to engage both owners and employees create and sustain a successful and viable business are very helpful. This is highly relevant in the North American culture where corporate leaders are struggling with lack of ideas, inability to harness excesses in management compensation and rewards, an impotency to compete with world producers and make inroads into larger markets, are myopic in their focus always having to show a growing profit that exceeds previous analyst expects each year, and other things all contribute to fumbling or failing business. The book reminds entrepreneurs how to keep it simple and if business responsibility is delegated to those who work in the business, how the owner and the team come out as winners all round and hopefully the business becomes a legend! Upon reflection over the content of the book, I cannot but ask if Executive greed is the huge stumbling block for business failure....case in point being the US Banking sector and I'm sure other business sectors." • Brandon Ulstad (Read his comment below) is absolutely right! Lots and lots of recycled information. Not a bad book but certainly not Blanchard's best. I expected something better from him.
