  A great primer on interpreting Scripture, and I still find his definitions of terminology to be critical in Bible study (though I did not enjoy memorizing them in his Hermeneutics class!). While I disagree with him on some issues, overall it is a worthy book for any Christian library.

  This was another textbook for my hermeneutics class. Overall it is a very solid book on biblical interpretation, but its greatest strength is its explanation of the role of the Holy Spirit in interpretation.
