I guess I've read a little too much of and by Castaneda lately. This one got a little tedious. It just goes over my head that someone would actually write this kind of random hooplaa and that someone would actually believe it to be real anthropological research O.o (show less)

  • I read a lot of Castaneda back when I was a bit too young for it perhaps, so picking one of his books up now was quite the experience. Just to do and act and decide, and hold true to those decisions - be they good or bad ... (show more)

Reading Carlos Castaneda was, for me, a major force in my pilgrimage to freedom and liberation and redeveloping my belief system, my morals, ideals, ethics, emotions; basically my belief in all things. Though fictitious in ways, his stories can be enthralling and mesmerizing.
