Just like no child is the same, neither is their condition, cause or cure. Environmental factors such as water pollution (hydrocarbons, pathogens, & waste), poor air quality (mercury, lead, diesel exhaust, to name a few) and toxins in our food (chemicals, hormones and antibiotics), are an assault to our children's systems. Combined with decreased nutritional standards (less whole, organic foods, rich in nutrients, free from pesticides and preservatives) and yes, even an increase in our vaccines, which have doubled in the past eighteen years, it's no wonder our poor children can no longer detoxify themselves! We are also seeing a rise in childhood cancers, diabetes, and learning diabilities, at an alarming rate. But, there is hope. Essential read for any parent of a child on the spectrum. It was recommended to me by another parent of a child further down the spectrum. I do believe environmental factors are causing many of the . My son has been formally diagnosed with 3 of the 4 --- none of which exists in either of our families. We pulled the milk completely from his diet at the suggestion of this book and were amazed at the progress he made. He became a completely different boy. NOT cured -- but much progress was made.
