A pretty good book, and extremely thorough in its way. However, I found myself a tad disappointed that there weren't more literary examples of where items they described were used. That was one of the reasons I decided to read this book; I'm writing a work of my own. Still, I'm sure that material from this book will wind up being helpful to me. There were items and symbols with which I was not familiar, and that will probably also have the effect of sparking my imagination in new directions. ... (show more)
