It was all right- in the spirit of the rest of the series. I thought it was a bit gorier at times, though, so I didn't enjoy it as much. The other thing is that it just kind of ends- nothing is resolved, it's just a teaser for the next book. Still, it is interesting. . . (show less)

Completely different from the previous novels and I found it somewhat hard to adapt, but it made for interesting reading. I do take issue with how absolutely desperate things seem to appear. Hopefully the hero won't pull off his goal without some major sacrifice.
