The Grace children return home after their adventure with the goblins to find their mother gone and the house torn to shreds. They go looking for her, find Mulgarath and destroy him with the help of another magical creature. Crazy aunt Lucinda is cured from her magical curse of not being able to eat human food and returns home. So does Authur, in a manner of speaking. And they all live happily ever after... I guess. This was a pleasant, easy to read series, but not entirely satisfying for a grown-up reader. Then again, I read children's books by choice and shouldn't complain. This is absolutely amazingly suitable for10-year olds and had I been that age still, I would have read these books over and over again. (show less)
