I love this book, so many great childhood memories from reading it by myself, with my parents, and along with the cassette that came with it from the library.. such a cute, sweet story.. I honestly can't believe it was banned at one point.

One of my all time fave books...in any genre ! I recently saw William Steig's exhibit at the new Jewish History Museum and was reminded of all of his great work. I am reading it with my son right now and he loves it too. This is an experience I have been waiting three years for! I love love love love Sylvester!
