Not nearly as good as the first in this series - it's clearly a "bookend" book. A lot of time is spent setting up plot elements, and then at the end, it seems that suddenly all forces come together to drive Leah apart from her fiance, and unfairly so. And a bit unbelievably so. Hoping the next book is better. (show less)

I've actually read all five books in this series since I posted this. They are great... I love learning about the Amish customs and the books are spiritual without being "religious".

the book was great! i love it.. so different to other books... i like that they don't have perfect predictable lives like so many other books... it is so easy to relate to the four sisters..... Intriguing insight into the Amish life
