When We Were Very Young
Verses full of bubbling nonsense and rhythm, written for the author's son, Christopher Robin. It is for "very small children (and for their elders who get a surreptitious joy from what is meant for their little ones)."--Saturday Review..

We just finished this book. I've been enjoying books with Kaila lately and this book of poems was great! We have the 2nd edition so it's neat to read a book that is vintage as well with my daughter since we try and collect older copies of books. Great book for all ages.

AA Milne poems and Winnie the Pooh books are part of some of my best childhood memories. Not sure if the poem 'James James Morrison Morrison Weatherby George Dupree, Took great care of his mother even though he was three..' is in this book but I remember taking walks with my grandmother with her reciting it. In school when we were made to memorize a poem and recite it in class I chose this one!
