This is a very funny book. There are patterns, of course, but I enjoyed the stories more than them. I actually found myself laughing out loud alone, and I think it has to do with recognizing myself on the situations these knitters put themselves. No one but a knitter could understand how important it would be to save your yarn from being "kidnapped" by a running cab, in the middle of the night... especially when it is being knitted with size 2 needles!!! Ackkhhh!!!
