  This was an interesting book. It is most definitely dated feeling, as the story takes place in the 80s and it really feels that way, but it was still interesting. I will say that I wouldn't call it one of my favorites, but it was worth a read to see one of Judy Blume's adult books. I did have a hard time really relating to the characters in more than a superficial way and understanding certain actions they take at times, but not so much that it detracted from the book for me. I will say that I wouldn't call it one of my favorites, but it was worth a read to see one of Judy Blume's adult books. I did have a hard time really relating to the characters in more than a superficial way and understanding certain actions they take at times, but not so much that it detracted from the book for me. All in all, I've liked some of her younger books better, but plan on trying out her other adult books to see how they turn out.

  If you're a Judy Blume fan, this it worth a read, so long as you keep in mind that it's not identical to her younger books. (show less)

  I thought this book was interesting but not as good as summer sisters or wifey. If you are a Judy Blume fan though it is worth a read. The book is a quick read.
