After reading the ideas presented in their original format, I found that I preferred Kafka's re-visioning in The Trial. Plato gets a good review because he was an early writer of note, not because this book was any particular pleasure to read. (show less)

  I love philosophy and have found it surprising how misused often Socrates life and example are invoked improperly. There are great parallels be found in today's culture and the battle between Socrates and the sophists.
