This book is kind of like the show "The Amazing Race". The only difference is that you are not competing against anyone. I thought that this book... (show more)

The characters did not have much depth to them. There were interesting parts, like the life-like descriptions of the cities in Europe, but I didn't feel like I saw much in each country and what I did see was the bleak, every day things and nothing really truly adventurous happened except that her stuff was stolen, she got locked out of the hotel and had to sleep in a graveyard, and she was almost raped. If you're looking for adventure, this isn't really it either. I think a teenager might like it though. (show less)

I love that Ginny is sent on this adventure across Europe by her aunt, following the rules set out in each letter, she must perform a certain task/visit a certain area before reading the next clue/letter. I also love that it is up to Ginny to keep the game alive. Nothing is preventing her from just opening all the letters at once. I felt that this was a truer portray... (show more)

I felt that this was a truer portrayal of young adulthood than in some YA novels, too. Props for creating imperfect and real characters. Great fun and a fast read. (show less)
