It's a hit!

Eye-opening for the Marx beginner. This is generally accepted as a required reading for most Sociology majors...at least it was for me.

It’s hard to believe that one third of the world’s population were living under his philosophy for a while there and one billion Chinese still are. Karl Marx’s idea of socialism via revolution is an erroneous understanding, the same for the brilliant Che Guevara. Violence for freedom/peace is an oxymoron. I ponder what the world would be like today if one third of its inhabitants followed Steiner’s philosophies instead of Marx’s. I will take away with me some great insights from this book. I think Karl Marx would be shocked to the core to see how Capitalism rules this planet of ours and the degradation of the workers and farmers in the face of big corporations. (show less)
