There's a new vampire in town. His name is Valentine Maxwell. Goth-girl Raven knows this latest intruder can only mean trouble—he's the younger sibling of two vampires she fought to drive out of Dullsville. But when her brother, Billy, befriends this dangerous tween night prowler, the stakes are suddenly higher. The far-from-ordinary romance of these two teen outsiders takes another surprise-filled spin in the fourth book of Ellen Schreiber's applauded Vampire Kisses series.

I tired to like these books, I mean the story is entertaining, but I feel like they try to hard. Everything happens to quickly the frankly the main character rather bugs me. The story takes place around a 16 year old, but I found the first book far more enjoyable when I was 11. Still, if you like really cliche, vampire romance novels you might want to try this series. Another amazing book in the series from Ellen Schreiber, with messages about family, trust, and wanting to be accepted. Ending with another dangerous cliff-hanger, it makes you want to know what happens next! (show less)

(show less)

I'm definitely not the right demographic for this book series. It's certainly written for a much younger audience, but it's entertaining enough and the books are very short.
The 4th book of the series was better than the first 3. I actually had a few moments where my jaw dropped. Mostly, I could tell what was coming. But I do plan to read the others and finish out the series.
