I kept saying to myself as I was listening to this book, "That is exactly what it is like for me".
I also realized from listening to this book, that while it is important to speak your lover's love language, it important to speak in all of the love languages to them at least a little bit.

I would definitely recommend this book to any couple. (show less)

Real love has to actively investigate how the other person needs to be loved. Also, understanding what our own love language (or languages) is (or are) can challenge us to love others in new ways. I was challenged to love my wife using her love language and to communicate to her how she can speak my love language more fluently. And no, I am not going to tell you what our love languages are...
