Q!! My main man!! How are ya buddy!? It's been so long I thought you'd run away to an exotic country with a mystery lady or something. Oh, your poor poor mum! I'm so sorry to hear she's been ill. Give her lots and lots of licks from me. I'm glad to hear you're taking good care of her, I bet you make a fab doctor. It's a shame you can't run off your lead any more. I'd be the same if I saw a cat but there aren't any in the woods luckily. Are you allowed to go swimming at all? My Christmas was great thanks. How about yours? I got loads of cool pressies. In fact, I still have a rawhide christmas cake in the cupboardl, must ask for it. We had a couple of weeks of deep snow this winter, much more than usual, it was great fun. It's gone now but at least it's warm enough to swim. Woof soon mate. High paws! Fred :)

Hi Q - happy Xmas to you, your mum and your sister. Did you get many presents? We got some new toys and went to the beach this morning - that was awesome! We have not been to the beach for a while. Now I am tired... but pretty happy!

Hey Q! How are you and your ma? Long time no woof! I didn't catch any venison in Scotland but it was still brilliant! We walked miles and miles and one day, when it was too windy to go into the mountains, we went to a really big beach. We had it all to ourselves and I was in heaven. I just threw my head back and ran and ran and the humans were laughing their heads off. Anyway, Mum saw how much I liked it and felt bad that we hadn't been to the beach at home for years, even though we live at the seaside, because she thought I would be naughty with other dogs. She's been taking me there lots lately and I love it! I spend the whole time in the sea and I'm very polite with other dogs :) Mum throws stones for me and if she stops I just yap til she throws more. So, what have you been up to? Is your pool out yet? It snowed here this weekend!! I went for a long walk in it and had so much fun catching and eating snow! Oh, and Mum and the girls are all fine, thanks for asking! Better go and write my Christmas list, not long now. High paws! Fred :)

Hi Q - good to hear from you! We are very well and very happy that our mum is back (but she just mentioned that she might leave again in Nov for 5 days to go to Rio! Not sure yet though). John, the student who looked after us, was also nice, but we did not really go for walks. So we got a bit bored and destroyed our beds - which was fun, there was fluff flying around everywhere, but I do not think John and my mum were impressed.... your adventure sounds like a lot of fun! We escaped once (not sure who left the gate open), but we went straight to the dog park that is just down the road - unfortunately there were people who knew us and they took us home immediately. We should have used that bit of freedom better, I guess... at least this way my mum only laughed and was not upset. Give your mum and Shannen a slobbery kiss from all of us - Blue ***

Q! I missed your birthday, bummer! Well, I guess we're even then. My mum is such a rubbish secretary! I hope you had a fantastic day pal. You're the same age as Daisy and Beth (Well Beth was 3 in April and Daisy was 3 in September.) I'm 7 now so I'm officially a senior dog :( I had an extra long walk and lots of treats and something even better than cheese....a CAKE! It was made of beef mince and carrot and totally smothered in ricotta cheese... YUM... check out my photos. Wow, what an adventure you had! Did you make it to the river? Of course you weren't in danger, you're much too streetwise. Molly does that sometimes when Grandad forgets to close the gate. Good thing there's not much traffic near our house because she's definitely not streetwise. Mum's packed my pool away for the winter and she never found the leak :( Oh well, we're off to Scotland on Sunday, I can't wait. I might see if I can catch myself my very own venison bone. High paws pal, Fred :)

Hi pal! How are you doing? I'm a bit annoyed because my pool's leaking and it's almost empty! Mum can't tell where the water's getting out but she says she'll fix it. Any luck catching that pesky rabbit? I found a hare in the long grass in the woods recently. I cornered it and it seemed to like me because it was squealing. I wanted it to run so I could chase it but Mum pulled me away. Daisy gave it a really gentle cuddle and then it hopped away. Mum's birthday was a nice day. I bought her an extending lead. Of course it was for her, not me ;) Daisy bought her a bag with a staffy on it and she got lots of other nice things. I gave her smooches and kisses just like you said :) She had a cake but it was chocolate so I wasn't allowed any!! Not even one little bit! And I heard a rumour that she had cake in a teashop too! Well, it's my birthday today so I'm hoping for some treats. Mum's handing in her last ever bit of uni work on Friday so we're having our birthday party on Saturday because that's Daisy's birthday. Can't wait! High paws buddy, Fred :)

Woohoo, no more girls harrassing you! That must be a relief! Our meeting with LouLou went well. She and Molly chatted while the humans were talking (about us I think). It was only brief because it started to rain and LouLou was a bit cold. I was the perfect gentleman of course :) I don't know what Mum was expecting but she kept saying "wow, what a good boy". What does she take me for, a bully!? Loulou is a fragile little lady so I had to be kind. To be honest I was a bit distracted by all the funny smells. We met in town you see and I rarely go into town so I was busy weeing up against flower troughs and sniffing inside bakeries so I sort of forgot to bark at any of the dogs I saw. Mum's put the singing video on my profile but please don't look at it...I'm so ashamed. I would like to destroy it but it's on the computer now and if I broke that I wouldn't be able to write to my friends. She's threatening to scan my baby photos next...nooo! What do you mean you haven't been swimming!? It's never too cold to swim. I've even broken through ice to get into the water before although Mum wasn't pleased. Anyway, I hope you are well pal and enjoying being alone at last. Fred :)

Hi Q - how are you? Hope everything is well! My mum uploaded some movies yesterday from me when I was a puppy (unbelievable how small I was) and Blue, and one she recorded yesterday - they are not bad! Just go and have a look at my page! She also helped the RSPCA with fundraising, organizing a cupcake day at work - they mentioned to raise just over $1000 - impressive, hey?!? And that is all for animals that are not as lucky as we are to have such nice mums. Big woof from Australia Maggie
