Most reviews I've read on the title love the writing but think that the illustration is to loose and perhaps to dense. I feel just the opposite. Mike Kunkle should trust his images more and write less dialogue. To my mind it's a bit to wordy. However, it's a great read. genuinly sweet and clever. Probably the closest thing will we'll ever get to the classis CC Beck Captain Marvel. With all the mistakes that DC has made with the Marvel Family and how they're presented in the DCU proper, they did get this title right.
