This is officially on ongoing now, if that wasn't clear already (!). Brian Lynch and Franco Urru return with issue #23 (Aftermath being locked off at 5 issues now), focusing on Gunn and then follows on with #24 and #25 focusing on Drusilla. Issue #26 and onwards isn't known about yet, but they will be happening. Also, the title is just 'Angel' as of issue #18, all subtitles have been dropped and probably won't be used from now on.

There will also be an ongoing Spike series, but nothing concrete is known as of now.

Updating the Angel situation. It's now known that issues 1-17 are the 'After the Fall' story line, issues 18-23 are the 'Aftermath' story line and then issues 24/25 will be focusing on Drusilla and issue 26 on Gunn (all 3 written by Brian Lynch). They currently stand at 2 and 1 issues, but given how AtF was expanded this might change down the line too. It's not known at the moment what storyline they'll fit into, if they'll be new storylines or just stand alones.

Is there any way the Aftermath issues can be merged with this main Angel title? It is an ongoing series after all and things are going to get messy once we start getting to issue 24 and beyond...

The AtF storyline finishes with issue 17, and then the Aftermath storyline starts with issue 18. When announced it was going to be 5/6 issues, now it's going to be at least 8 as Chris Ryall said recently that the Angel title will continue for at least 25 issues. So who knows where it'll end up.

Solicits are out for up to issue 19 so far.

This was recently renamed to just 'Angel' -- why was that? I know they are talking of doing another angel series after #16 or #17 -- has that been announced that it'll continue with a different storyline, or will it be a new book itself?

I've renamed back to 'Angel: After the Fall' since that's what is in the shipping data and I need it to match up during the imports.
