I've really enjoyed this telling of the Punisher story and the gritty artwork has only enhanced the experience. Wondering though, who is this man-chick at the end? Cliffhangers are the worst.

To all of you who think that comic books are for kids, I urge you to read this series. Perfect for fans of movies like Pulp Fiction and Out of Time. Like an Elmore Leonard novel put to graphic form. All of the editions have been collected and can be found at your local book store...

I think that Ellis is doing a pretty good job at telling a super hero story. This was a little slower story wise vs issue #1; however we are part way through Stark’s mission to get back his stolen stark tech.
The story is told by Landra’s Grandfather, who was a major player with the FVZA. He is raising his grandchildren Landra (the granddaughter) and Vidal the grandson. In fact he tries to train them to be FVZA agents even though it appears as it is a skill set they won’t need. The granddaughter takes to it like a duck to water and the grandson like a duck to buckshot.

I've been following Nova since the original Annihilation event, and sometimes I just have to step back and marvel at how such a remarkably good comic has come out of a once-ridiculous character.
I'm all for comic book violence, especially in a Hulk title, but the mind-numbing slaughter of this book has proven both tedious and pointless.

The best written Spidey is BMB's version in New Avengers. In fact, this is my favorite series right now.

Skaar and Daken were great to see, interacting...Skaar's character is shown in bright lights,..definitely a force to be recconded with..the Leader might be more than Banner, and son are prepared for.
Incredible issue, only wish it was going past #17..Hiro will make a great addition to the MU..will Skaar eventually get to continue this tittle? Incredible Hulk 604-606 will hopefully see the return of the Green Goliath...who I miss very much...OLD POWER will un-balance the fragile balance presently in the MU!!!!

All seems hopeless for the good guys, but Barry Allen rises to the occasion and basically explains to all is time to step up, clam up and start kicking some undead butt. Black Hand is making his way to Coast City, where he says the key to power is located, There is a lot of old school and new school action in this issue. Keep it coming Mr. Reis.

OMG OMG OMG - Halfway through the book, from what I could tell the story fragments are fitting into place. Nick Fury’s Avengers team is assembled OMG! This is by far not your mothers Ultimate Avengers anymore, black ops has a whole new meaning.
This is actually a 4-issue mini-series, not 5. Final issue hit newsstands today.
And I believe Bendis was only involved in the first story arc which ended at issue #6.

This series has a great deal of potential, I think, but in this particular issue very little actually happened.
This was solicited as "The Timeless Adventures of The Eternal Warrior" but shipped as "Eternal Conflicts Of The Cosmic Warrior"
I was a big fan of Exiles until Chris Claremont ruined it, so I was looking forward to this relaunch. Fun and fast, Jeff Parker's first six issues would have made for a great start to a new series. However, this collected volume just doesn't stand up that great on its own.
Readers looking for a light, quick and enjoyable read would be happy with "Exiles: Point of No Return," but it is a TPB that will quickly be forgotten.

Everything that I commented about the first series of IDW's adaptation of "Ghost Whisperer" from the first series also applies here with the follow-up series titled: "The Muse". Great job on the story and artwork. The covers are all beautifully done as well (I would also recommend looking for the lovely and beautiful photo covers featuring Ms. Hewitt).
As a fan of Jennifer Love Hewitt, I mainly bought this comic book series mainly for the covers (I bought the photo covers that aren't shown here). I like watching "Ghost Whisperer" on television good enough and I like this comic adaptation equally so. Sometimes when I pick up a IDW comic book I am disappointed in either the writers or the artists. Not in this case at all. Great job done by everyone involved!
I'm the biggest Doctor Who fan that I know. Actually I don't really know a great number of people that well and I have never traveled across the pond to The U.K. for that matter. So there. That still makes me the biggest Doctor Who fan that I know, however, according to the fan base in Britain and sci fi conventions around the globe I guess I'm not even in the same league as some "Whovians". Despite all of that, I'm still big enough of a fan to know what I'm talking about when it comes to Doctor Who comics. I collect them all and I can say with utmost certainty that the stories in this classic first series as drawn by the great Dave Gibbons are the absolute best Doctor Who comics of any time period. Mr. Gibbons shows us what a fabulous Doctor Who adventure is supposed to look like as we all know only too well that the television series back during this period was extremely lacking in good visuals. In fact mediocre visuals and special effects would have been an improvement to what us fans had to endure when we would watch the shows back then (thankfully that has all changed with the big bugdet of the new current series). Thanks to the great artwork we can see these characters and their settings from that period in time with a bit more dignity. My only wish is that the writers would have used the companions from the television show but at least we got K-9 to make an appearance in these great comics! For any fan of Doctor Who, I highly recommend this classic series.
Aaaahhh, Harvey Comics! These were some of the very first comic books that I remember when I was an extremely young lad. My father bought me issues of "Casper", "Hot Stuff" and "Richie Rich" not realizing that he was creating a kid who would grow up spending a fortune on his comic book addiction that all started back when dear ol' dad first got me hooked with these titles published by Harvey Comics. These comics will always be near and dear to my heart because they fueled the vehicle that sent me on so many great adventures in this world and beyond.
I love so many of the titles that are published by Dynamite Entertainment. This company first caught my attention with their adaptations of "Battlestar Galactica" and the "Highlander" series. Several years ago they brought the absolute best writers and artists together for the premiere of "The Lone Ranger". As much as I like my science fiction stories -- I have to say that this western is the best overall work published by Dynamite Entertainment to date. It's about time this character stepped into the spotlight once again. It's also time that Hollywood should think about bringing a well done feauture film of The Lone Ranger to the silver screen. If anyone from Hollywood does decide to give a green light to do this film then they should take their cues from Dynamite Entertainment's top notch stories first and formost.
No caped super heroes, sci fi or fantasy here. This is an adult story that is set in reality. It actually plays out as if it were a dramatic movie. Very well thought out and written with drama, mystery and intrigue. Rutu Modan does a great job in depicting contemporary modern life in Israel with this realistic story. The ending is very good as well because it could end in so many ways and yet it ends in a way that most people wouldn't guess. Overall great story. I would highly recommend this to adults who want to experience a graphic novel that is set in reality and not set in a typical super hero universe.

John Byrne did an excellent job, in my opinion, of re-booting the Man of Steel and continued doing so in Superman and Action Comics. The Man of Steel series was a definite 80s style rendering of all the supporting cast and main villian. It was great!
Alex Maleev art isn't really doing anything for me yet and I hate to state this, but this doens't read as if Bendis actually wrote it. The delivery seems stale at times; however the ending was good.

You know what the confusion came from? Special #1 & 2 came out in 2006 as a mini-series. In 2007, they put out a one-shot special that on the cover was called "Ex Machina Masquerade Special" but in the indica was listed as "Ex Machina Special #3." Then, "Ex Machina Special #4" was released in 2009...nice and messy, eh? :)
Ever since Bendis left this book, the heroes have become 3rd rate and are doing anything short of janitorial duty. Pym has become the Scientist Supreme? <reaches> Put this back on the shelf and just say, "No"
