The Friendship Circle is a non-profit organization that addresses the challenges facing the families of children with special needs in a novel and innovative way. The organization pairs up local teenagers with the children for a full range of ongoing specially tailored programs: Friends @ Home, Sunday Circle, Sports League, Rock Climbing, Winter/Summer camp, Sibling Groups, Parent Workshops, Making Music, Gymnastics and Movement Therapy. The Friendship Circle touches so many . . . The child with special needs looks forward to the special events they attend where they are cared for in a fun atmosphere. The teenage volunteer learns the value of giving, and cherishes the experience of making a difference in a child’s life.
