crean has the opportunity to talk to bassett, ej (probably gone) and devin ebanks... he could save next season/the program in a matter of a week, best case scenario... we could, of course, still be competely fucked.

I hope Crean can save IU's '09 season and bring back Bassett back.

Dakich should have been letting the kids have a break from a tough loss to Arkansas and all the media stuff and just let them go to class and focus on final exams while he clears out his desk. not using his last days as coach to bust balls

they are already looking for his replacement - why mess things up for whoever the new coach is? let the new guy talk with the players and have a chance to deal with them, just like Sampson did with the old players he persuaded to stay.

the basketball season is over; the players dont have to do anything but go to class right now and prepare for final exams. Dakich was probably taking revenge against the program for not hiring him as the head coach.
