Nourish International (NI) works to eradicate extreme poverty by engaging students and empowering communities in need. Please click the blue "Donate" button below and give as little as $10 to help us grow our movement. We are currently expanding our chapter network to universities across the country. If you are interested in founding a chapter, or know someone who might be a great fit, please nominate them here. http://nourishinternational.org/... Since 2003, Nourish has invested $74,800 in nine community-based projects that will provide better food security, water security, education and medication for over 5,000 individuals for many years to come. In addition, we have grown our movement to 7 college campuses, including UNC, Duke, NC State, Michigan, Ohio State, Minnesota and SLU. We recognize that homegrown solutions to poverty work. We also understand that money is not a solution in and of itself, but instead a necessary tool for funding the projects that will help sustain communities in the long term. For this reason, our students collaborate with impoverished communities, working together to give each community a hand-UP rather than a hand-out. Your contribution will be used to engage more students and empower more communities. |
