| Description: | Two years ago, a number of Somali women were recruited into the journalism program at Puntland State University in Somalia. Unfortunately, after a few months, virtually all the women were forced to drop out because they could not afford tuition. For each $1,000 that is raised, a Somali woman will be able to attend classes for an entire year at one of seven Somali universities. |
Check out the success of the Dartmouth Link Up charity denim sale. Thanks to their efforts we will be sending a woman to college for a year (and paying for her expenses so we can be sure she can attend fully!) Thanks Micaela and her Link Up team!!!!
