Bobcat, bear, bald eagles, peregrine falcons, rare butterflies and protected species of bats all live in the Garden State. Of the many species of wildlife that live in New Jersey. Over 40 species are in danger and are protected by state or federal threatened and endangered species laws. Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey seeks to protect the state's biodiversity through research, management, monitoring and education.
