Bring Me Hope is a non-profit organization that works to effect positive change in the lives of orphans through our summer camps, personal relationships, and public awareness initiatives.
Right now, we are concentrating on the orphans of Asia, but we would love one day to look around and see a camp in every country, on every continent, bringing volunteers and orphans together to change each others lives.
Throughout the years, the stories of tragedy from the children that we have encountered are to numerous to recount here in a paragraph.
Tales of abuse in the orphanages, multiple abandonments by different sets of parents, watching murder take place within their own family before their eyes, watching siblings sold to pay for bills; the list is never ending.
But here, I do not want to focus on the need that exists, for we all know that it is out there. I instead want to focus on the hope that can be found in us, in you. In you lies the power to change a child's life. In you lies the capability to give a forgotten person a chance. In you, lies the proof that the extraordinary can come from anywhere.
Please, join us in our efforts to stem the tide of apathy in this world, and to show it that there are still people in it that will stand up and say, we will not forget, and we will not ignore. Join us in bringing the light into the darkness.
