Help CGC By Participating in America's Giving Challenge!
Hi Everyone,
We need your help! The Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut (CGC) has a great opportunity to raise money and awareness. Facebook has launched a competition for non-profits called “America’s Giving Challenge.” The Challenge awards non-profits who have the greatest number of donations through Facebook between October 7 and November 6.
Facebook will award $50,000, $25,000, and $10,000 to the 3 non-profits who have the most unique donors throughout the contest. It does not matter how much is donated (although there is a $10 minimum) – what matters is how many different people donate.
There is also a daily contest, where Facebook will award $1,000 and $500 to the 2 non-profits who have the highest unique donors each day.
The key is participation! Each person can donate once every day to be counted as a “unique donor.”
What is also great is people who are NOT on Facebook CAN donate to this Challenge too! So, whether you are on Facebook or not, you can participate, and all of your friends and family can participate! Pass the word by posting in your Facebook status or sending an email.
Help children in our community in need! Go to www.causes.com/CGC , click on the green donate button at the bottom of the page, and follow instructions from there.
You can make a difference...thank you!
