SCAN Bill 106 wants it passed that smell of refer smoke can have you investigated and removed from your residents without a hearing!

The Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods Act (SCAN) is a provincial private member's bill sponsored by Ottawa-Centre MPP Yasir Naqvi. SCAN would allow municipalities to appoint a Director with the power to investigate residents based on anonymous complaints and seek their removal without a hearing before the Landlord and Tenant Board.
