The Desired Outcome of this Petition:

President Obama must lead a concerted international peace surge for Sudan, focused on ending the crisis in Darfur rather than managing it. Support for the U.N.-authorized peacekeeping force that actively protects civilians and holding the perpetrators of the genocide to account are important elements of this peace surge. He must make Darfur a priority from day one.
