Mission:	PWCL is committed to ending domestic and sexual violence by providing confidential support services and education to empower our community.
Description:	PWCL operates three major programs. The Crisis Line program provides 24hour, 7 day a week support, advocacy, resource and referral to callers experiencing domestic and sexual violence including shelter bedchecks three times a day, transportation from danger to safety, access to a translation line for non-English speaking callers and real-time occupancy updates for area domestic violence shelters. The Sexual Assault program provides in-person advocacy at hospitals, police stations and the courts, crisis counseling, and outreach to survivors of sexual assault as well as women working in the sex industry. The Volunteer program coordinates three city-wide domestic violence trainings per year and two sexual assault advocacy trainings to up to 150 individuals who will volunteer with PWCL or a partnering domestic violence agency. Beneficiaries of these programs include survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, their family and friends, case managers, counselors and advocates.
