Mission:	The mission of Special equestrians is to improve the physical, mental and emotional well-being of individuals with disabilities through the equine experience.
Description:	Special Equestrians has just entered its’ 26th year of service, providing therapeutic riding and hippotherapy to people with disabilities. 80% of our riders are children. Our At-Risk Program served riders from three different youth shelters last year, providing marketable job skills and therapeutic riding lessons at the same time. Special Equestrians’ Nationally Certified Instructors provided over 2800 riding lessons last year. Our volunteers contributed over 8,000 hours of their time to our programs, assisting with lessons, caring for our wonderful horses, and working in and outside of our barn.
Spring Festival and Student Horse Show:	Join us for our annual Spring Festival and Student Horse Show, on Sunday May 17, from 9 AM to 4 PM, at 2800 street Road, in Warrington, PA. We will also have vendors, games, food, prizes, and pet psychic Doona Doyle will do readings from your pet's photo. In the event of rain the activities will move inside our barn.
Golf Outing:	We are pleased to once agian host our Golf Outing at Commonwealth National Golf Course on Monday July 13, in Horsham, PA. For sponsorship or golfing information please call our office at 215-918-1001
