THE TREE HOUSE CENTER FOR TROUBLED YOUTH INC

Kids Kabana is a free after school program for middle school students. The Bistro is a free coffee shop for high school and college aged students.

The Kids Kabanas are our after school programs for middle schoolers. We give the students snacks, we offer tutoring, we play games, have artistic opportunities, healthy eating, special presentations, and anything else we can think of that can benefit the youth. We also allow for them to have "voice and choice," which is the best-practice way of saying we allow them freedom and the ability to choose what activities they will engage it. Basically, we focus on being safe, fun, and beneficial to our kids.

This is a free coffee shop for high school and college kids. It is run by the Bistro Board, which is a group of high school and college age kids who plan the events and also run them. It gives these students a chance to learn how to run a business and a meeting. Meanwhile, we have classes, concerts, and other activities for the students who simply come in.
