Mission:	Engineers Without Borders promotes human development through access to technology.
Our Work:	EWB is dedicated to a world free from extreme poverty. Our work creates opportunities for people living in impoverished countries to improve their lives and work their ways out of poverty.
Overseas:	EWB volunteers work in some of the world's poorest countires. These volunteers help build the technical knowledge and skills among local organisations, spreading innovative and sustainable solutions to the challenges of poverty. Our volunteers work to find sustainable solutions in three key areas: 1. Agriculture and food production 2. Water and sanitation 3. Agro-processing and rural energy
In Canada:	Canada and Canadians have a critical role to play in reducing extreme poverty worldwide. Over 30,000 EWB members and volunteer engage Canadian engineers, the general population, our government, and corporations in poverty alleviation. Through EWB's School Outreach, Member Education, Engineering Curriculum Enhancement and Public Outreach Programs, our members are helping to make Canada a global leader in the fight against extreme poverty.
