Positions:
  1. Eating is an activity that has moral and spiritual significance.
  2. The connection between food and faith is built into many of our religious traditions.
  3. Everyone has time and space in their day to choose compassion, by reducing consumption of animal products and/or selecting substitutes.
  4. Concern for animals is a longstanding religious tradition. Many denominations in the US have adopted official statements on animal welfare.

Description:
This campaign encourages religious communities to make a difference in the lives of animals by making more humane food choices.

There are 10 billion animals raised on U.S. factory farms. 95% of egg-laying hens in the US are confined to battery cages where they can't walk, spread their wings or lay their eggs in nests.

Please join us as we work towards activating religious communities in their role and responsibility as faithful stewards of creation.

You can do so by signing the pledge to make more humane food choices:

Then, please consider supporting our efforts on behalf of farm animals by donating, either here on this Cause or on the website:

www.humanesociety.org/allcreatures

On behalf of the animals, thank you for joining us!
