We are coming together to fight the injustice of sex slavery. There will be a community wide event that will raise money, and our hope is to raise awareness to end this industry.
Visit www.myspace/relentlesscampaign The Relentless Campaign was originally started by a group of teenage girls after tending the Joyce Meyer's conference in St. Louis, and being exposed to the injustice of human trafficking. It has been over a year, and they are still working hard to raise funds and awareness for the A21 campaign, that rescues girls, offers rehabilitation, and works with government officials to change legislation. They do not put money back into the industry, and they focus on their spiritual recovery as well as emotional and physical. Over the summer of 2008, they raised over $26,000 through a walk-a-thon and change wars. They are working to united the community through a battle of the bands, and will continue working on fundraisers and raising awareness. The girls attend Resurrection Life Church, and get a ton of support from the youth group at the ground floor. |
