I took this picture in 2007 while visiting my favorite childhood playground. It had all new equipment and I had try it all out.

Through a generous KaBOOM! grant (in partnership with Home Depot) and amazing community support, the Byck PTA was able to place playground equipment at our Title I school, a school that had never had a playground and located in a neighborhood without a park. Because of our efforts, the city council has earmarked an additional 30k to build a playground with slides, etc. It is so important that we bring play back into our schools and communities!
