The Brain Candy Project's mission is to support the needs of parents/guardians living in the hospital with their critically ill children.

We will collaborate with and support other non-profit organizations who are focused on charitable and educational activities that raise awareness about pediatric illnesses, traumas, and the support needs of families who are affected by them.

The Brain Candy Project: a charitable program of the Congressional District Programs, a 501(c)(3) non-profit.

This very night, there are parents sleeping on the chairs and floors of their children’s hospital rooms, as I did for two months with my son in the initial stages of his recovery and treatment of brain cancer. It's no mystery that most hospitals are unable to provide comfort or support services to parents who find themselves in this situation. And it's no wonder - the hospitals' job is to care for the children. It is for this reason that The Brain Candy Project was founded... to care for the parents.

We are currently in PHASE 1 of our development. We require an adequate financial base to develop our marketing strategy, conduct field research, pay salaries and procure the goods and services that will fulfill our vision.
