In the era of email, Instant Messaging and Text Messaging, there have been many changes to almost every word in almost every language to shorten them up for the sake of time consumption. Early in this fad, this method was only used for 'fun' writing (e.g. texting
), but now, it has evolved into our schools and workplaces, in our notes and conversations. Nowadays, it takes more work to figure out what one sentence in "txt spk" says, than to type out the vowels in the words. So, take an extra few seconds, add in your vowels and spell out a real word, and make yourself look more intelligent at the same time.
