Description:
We are a humanitarian organization funding HIV/AIDS prevention programs run by Africans for Africans. Our in-country programs work in partnership with other like-minded organizations (Aribuisaneng), faith-based groups (Siyafundisa), governments, and individuals like you, toward realizing the UN's Millennium Development Goals, including eradicating HIV/AIDS and extreme poverty in Africa, within our lifetime. We support factually based, anti-stigma HIV/AIDS education and care of the more than 14 million children orphaned by HIV/AIDS and their caregivers. Programs are based on the peer-to-peer educational method established by Harvard School of Public Health and caregiver support programs in collaboration with Georgetown University's School of Nursing and Health Studies and Institute for Reproductive Health.
