The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews was founded in 1983 to promote understanding between Christians and Jews and to build support for Israel and the Jewish people. Over the last 25 years we have helped hundreds of thousands of Jews escape poverty and anti-Semitism and return to Israel, funded humanitarian assistance that has touched the lives of millions of Jews in Israel and around the world, provided life-giving aid to Israel's victims of war and terror, and much more. To learn more about The Fellowship , visit www.ifcj.org.
Holocaust survivors are among those helped by The Fellowship . Today, there are nearly 100,000 Holocaust survivors living in poverty in Israel. The need to provide for a strong national defense means that the Israeli government has reduced budgets which fund social welfare needs of these desperate people. Having survived brutality and deprivation early in their lives, in their old age they are forced to live without life's basic necessities. The Fellowship has responded to this tragic situation with our Holocaust Survivors Fund . Through it, Holocaust survivors in Israel receive food, medical treatments, visits from home care workers, and have their emergency needs filled. We cannot change the horrors Holocaust survivors have endured. But we can let them know we're committed to helping them live the remainder of their lives with a measure of comfort and dignity. Over 60 years ago, the world stood by while they suffered. Don't let them be forgotten again. Please give a gift to The Holocaust Survivors Fund.
