Secret Paws! Yes! I just received my Secret Paws package from Shadow Cat and I just LOVE! all my goodies. I love opening boxes, so mommy let me open up my package. Inside there were all sorts of wonderful kitty things: a beautiful blanket for napping and a hand-crocheted stuffie. There were also some stinky-goodness and NIP! Best of all were the little mice and the turquoise buggie with the jingle in his head. He makes me go crazy. Riley dog tried sticking his nose at my buggie toy so I had to hiss and swap him on the head! Thank you so much Shadow for all my wonderful Secret Paws goodies. I love! them!

This is my little cat, Toby! My husband and I rescued Toby after his owner put him out with her trash. It was early in the morning and rather chilly and he was yeowling his little head off for help. When we brought him in, he was shivering, extremely thin and reeking of cigarettes. While my husband ran to the store for cat food, I quickly washed him up and dried him. We were concerned how Riley (our dog) would react to the kitten, but he did very well. After eating an entire can of cat food, I put Toby on our bed for a nap. He slept for a long time with Riley watching over him. The following morning, my husband took Toby to the vet for a check up and got him started on his vaccinations. Our vet determined that Toby was only 6 weeks old! The thing that was really hard to understand is how this woman would take a barely weened kitten away from its mother and plop it outside with her trash and then listen to it cry for help. And to even walk past it while trotting off for the day. At least she didn't put Toby into the trash! Anyway, one full month later, Toby has doubled in size and weight, his fur is shiny and soft and he is thriving in our home. He and Riley are best buds and love to rough-house and play with each other's toys. Best of all is that Toby is a super affectionate cat, purrs at the drop of a hat and is a great addition to our family.
