Friends think I'm gross because I let it mellow if it's yellow and keep a worm compost. My rug, couch, and table were discovered dumpster diving. I stay green by having CFLs, biking, using linen (no paper), wiping with recycled TP, air-drying clothes, printing double-sided on recycled paper with less ink, shopping locally with reusable bags, storing organic food in glass-containers, avoiding plastic, and recycling. Open-windows keep my apartment lit and cool without A/C. I drink water from my Brita Filter with a BPA-free bottle. Everything is plugged into one power-strip, unplugged when not in use. I aim for sustainability!
